This fully-supported eight-day expedition includes camping, meals on the trail, a mountain guide and porters, so you can focus on the walking and the wonder.
Meet in Srinagar and transfer to the Sonamarg base. Trek briefing, gear check and an acclimatisation walk around the meadows.
Begin the trek, climbing through pine and silver-birch forest to the Nichnai meadow camp beneath towering ridges.
Cross the Nichnai Pass (4,100 m) and descend to the stunning Vishansar Lake, camping on its grassy shore.
A spectacular day over the Gadsar Pass (4,200 m) past Kishansar Lake, with wildflower meadows all the way to Gadsar.
Walk to the Satsar cluster of seven alpine lakes, surrounded by rolling green pasture and grazing shepherd flocks.
Cross the Zajibal Pass to the magnificent Gangbal and Nundkol twin lakes beneath Mount Harmukh.
Descend through forest to Naranag and its ancient temple ruins, then drive back to Srinagar for a well-earned hot shower.
After a relaxed breakfast check out and, time permitting, enjoy a final shikara moment or some last-minute shopping before a comfortable transfer to Srinagar airport for your onward journey — carrying home a lifetime of Kashmir memories.
